Steel sheet pile wall consists of driven steel sheets interlocked together by joints, to form a continuous wall with a series of closely fitting joints. The sheet piles are usually used when it is required to retain not only soil pressure but also water. It is extensively used for retaining soils that are below the water table and would flow if excavated, additionally, sheet piling is very useful in case of very soft clays. The sheet piles have lightweight with maximum strength and durability. It is usually driven into the ground by using Vibro-hammers and it is extracted in the same way after completing the construction.
